A bit about me …

I'm Meg Zirger, a PCC-certified executive and leadership coach based in Barcelona, working in English and Spanish.

I've always been fascinated by why people do what they do.

Why we put off the hard conversation for weeks. Why we take on everything ourselves because letting go feels risky.

Why the smart, capable leader we know we are sometimes disappears when the stakes get high!

A lot of it comes down to patterns: habits learned over time, instincts built to protect us that end up keeping us playing small.

Most of my clients know what they want to change. They just can't yet see why it keeps happening, or how to actually shift it.

With a background in education and over 1,600 hours of coaching, I work with leaders navigating more responsibility, greater complexity, or higher visibility — on conversations they've been avoiding, decisions that feel stuck, and team dynamics they keep circling.

  • “I was navigating a difficult team dynamic and found myself reacting in key conversations. The work I did with Meg helped me approach those situations differently, and set clearer boundaries. Immediately, the conversations felt much more constructive and I felt better about how I was navigating it all.”

  • “When I started working with Meg, I was navigating more senior responsibilities and sometimes felt out of my depth. Knowing when to escalate, having difficult conversations with senior stakeholders, or owning high-visibility projects. She's helped me reframe how I approach those moments and trust myself more in them. Meg's guidance, to focus on the outcome and make incremental progress in small blocks of time, has helped me move through challenges at a pace I couldn't on my own.”

    — Christine, Senior Manager in Healthcare Tech

  • "Before working with Meg, I was taking on too much as CEO. I was struggling to delegate, avoiding difficult conversations, and stuck in the operational instead of leading the business. She helped me recognize what needed to change and work on practical shifts in how I delegated, communicated, and led the team. The work actually changed how I approach leadership day to day. I came away with more clarity, leading more intentionally, and enjoying the role in a way I hadn't in a long time."
